Kangna and Ajay in cold war

With Ajay Devgn ignoring Kangna Ranaut at an event for their new film 'Tezz', the miffed actress has decided to steer clear of him

With their new film all set to release soon, Anil Kapoor and Ajay Devgn are going all out for the promotional activities around it. 

However, it remains to be seen if co-star Kangna Ranaut will accompany them for some of these    events.Reason: The Bollywood actress was given a major cold shoulder by Devgn at the film’s music launch in Delhi recently and now she is believed to have decided to stay away from him for a while.The royal snubA source present at the launch of the Priyadarshan-directed film in the capital tells us that Ajay and Kangna didn’t even exchange glances when they came together on the stage, let alone exchange pleasantries.   

“So much so that even producer Ratan Jain was worried how the ‘ignorance is bliss’ stance between his lead pair would shift the focus away from the music launch, ” says our source, adding that the rift between the once-upon-a-time friends was evident when Ajay didn’t mention Kangna’s name even once while speaking. 

“While Ajay praised Sameera Reddy for the action sequences she has done and thanked Anil, Priyan and Ratan for the wonderful experience of working in the film, he didn’t mention Kang’s name even once. 

More so since they’re paired together and the crux of the story exists solely on the circumstances their on-screen characters face. And Kangna was so upset with this ignorance that she decided to avoid Ajay by not accompanying the cast on promotional tours, ” says our source.Past imperfectIt is believed that the Ajay-Kangna friendship soured during the making of Rascals. Later, she had difference with his buddy Sanjay Dutt who felt she was unfairly using his name. Ajay then preferred to side with Dutt.

The trailers are in the theatres and the promotional clippings are ready to be aired. But the film’s producers Viacom 18 have decided to shoot an additional song which will not only be sung by Sanjay Dutt. 

There have been loud whispers about Sanjay Dutt’s more than passing interest in behind-the-scenes proceedings of his latest film Department. Dutt has been looking closely at the progression of the shooting, specially towards the closing lap. 

In fact it was Dutt who suggested Brazilian model Nathalia for the item song rather than a known face from Bollywood. And now comes the clincher. Next week Sanjay Dutt would personally shoot a song featuring himself and to be choreographed by Dutt’s friend and protégé choreographer Ahmed Khan. 

A very reliable source from Viacom 18 informed, “Sanjay Dutt will be shooting the song with Ahmed Khan’s choreography. The peppy edgy number has been composed by Sandeep Chowta and Mr Dutt would be recording the song in his own voice. There’s no doubt that Sanjay Dutt is a major attraction after Agneepath. We want to make sure he is projected as the film’s USP. ” 

(Mr Bachchan has a cameo in the film).

Dutt would be taking charge of the song which besides being aired on all the channels would also be appended on to the film for the end-titles. 

While the Viacom source chose to remain anonymous, choreographer Ahmed Khan spilled the beans. “Yes, we are shooting a song for Department. It’s a music video to be sung by Baba. He and I are getting together once again after he sang and I shot Aye shivani in Sanjay Chhel’s Khubsoorat. This time it’s an edgy song with no dancing. ”

Geeta Basra apparently wants ‘special friend’ Harbhajan Singh to accompany her to a concert by a Romanian band 

Geeta Basra has got music on her mind. The starlet is looking forward to the India tour of the Romanian band Deepside Deejays. 

As she is a big fan of the group, she has introduced their house music to her ‘special friend’ Harbhajan Singh. And apparently the cricketer, too, has been hooked to it.Their tracks like Beautiful Days, Get Shaky and remixed versions of Don’t Say It’s Over and Never Be Alone is on the loop of Geeta’s playlist. Buzz is that the starlet is keen that Bhajji can accompany her to one of their concerts.Though he is busy with the on-going IPL matches for his Mumbai Indians team, she is hoping he can take time off depending on the match schedules. The band is slated to perform in the country later this month. Incidentally, Geeta is not going to be attending the concert for the first time, as she has already seen them live in action in Europe. 

She says, “I was in Austria visiting my aunt when my cousins dragged me to their concert. The atmosphere was so charged. I couldn’t stop myself from dancing endlessly only to be really tired at the end of the show.”

According to her many bands come up with great tracks but are lacklustre when they perform live.

“But with Deepside Deejays, it’s so cool that they can actually set the audience’s hearts pumping. I can’t wait to catch them in India, ” adds Geeta who is also looking forward to her item number in a Sanjay Dutt-Arshad Warsi starrer.      More on the band…

Big B dances to `Kammo` in RGV`s `Department`

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be seen shaking a leg in his signature style in the forthcoming film "Department" and actress Anjana says she was stunned to see Big B's amazing energy level.

"There is a situational song where Mr. Bachchan is dancing for me and Rana's (Rana Daggubati) wedding. The wedding dance song is called 'Kammo' and is sung by Mika," Anjana, who was earlier seen with the megastar in a Dairy Milk chocolate ad, told .

"The song was picturised before Mr. Bachchan's surgery (in February).  It's a fun  song  choreographed  by Shabina Khan. The amount of energy that Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt carry with them is commendable. It is so encouraging,"she added.Composed  by  Bappa Lahiri, the song is sung  by   Mika    and Sudesh Bhosle. Directed by Ram Gopal Verma, "Department" is scheduled for a May 18 release.

Salman Khan to host Bigg Boss 6

Season five of Bigg Boss ended last night with dance performances and turn-by-turn eliminations. A week ago, rumours had it that Salman Khan was likely to return in the second half of the year with the next edition of the popular Colors show. That meant he would not be available for the third season of his pet TV show, 10 Ka Dum, which, incidentally, marked his debut as a TV host on Sony Entertainment.

Adding a sudden twist to the tale, a news report emerged a day before the finale, claiming that Salman had decided to drop out of Bigg Boss to go back to 10 Ka Dum. But a source from Colors insists that talks with the actor have already been initiated, and the channel wants him back for season six.

Salman“There are no talks with the makers or with the channel for 10 Ka Dum. The sources of that story are laughable,” smirks Salman on the Bigg Boss 5 sets at Karjat. “I love that show but I’m not likely to go back.”

When asked if that is an indication that he will be back with Bigg Boss 6, the actor says that he would love to return, something he had said even when season four had ended.

“It’s still a couple of months away. I don’t know what the channel is thinking. But I love this show. And if they really want me back, I will make time for them,” he adds.

His co-host Sanjay Dutt, however, doesn’t sound as confident about returning to the show that launched him on the small screen “I have my options open. This show made me realise the kind of audience connect TV has. And I’d like to connect with the viewers again, even if it’s not through this show.”

Missing Hrithik

It was recently reported that Hrithik Roshan was dropped from the Bigg Boss finale because he doesn’t get along with Salman Khan. Bring this up and co-host Sanjay says, “Salman and I would’ve loved to have Hrithik on the show. But he’s shooting Krrish 3 on a tight schedule and couldn’t move his timetable around.”

Kangana's wardrobe Malfunction

The sexy and hot Bollywood fashionista Kangana Ranaut recently had a disastrous wardrobe malfunction when she attended Sanjay Dutt’s wife Manyata’s surprise baby shower.

The actress who carries of both western and traditional clothes quite easily, was aptly dressed for the occasion in a glitttering salwaar kameez. But she had to face an embarrasing situation when the zippers on the sides gave way.

The actress was hiding it with her right arm,but sadly couldnt escape the paparazzi,which caught the wardrobe malfunction on the camera.

It was quite ironic,because Kangana had earlier essayed the role of Carol Gracias’s wardrobe malfunction tragedy in Madhur Bhandarkar’s higly acclaimed movie, Fashion. Well, it was because of the rip in the fabric that Kangna choose to leave early.

Kangna you should have zipped down to Zara since the event was at the Palladium and bought a new dress. That would have been a cooler statement to make, right people!!!
