If rumours are to be believed then it seems like Parineeti Chopra has found a trustworthy friend and confidant apart from her cousin Priyanka Chopra. 

According to a source, the 24-year-old befriended Jackky Bhagnani, son of producer Vashu Bhagnani, a couple of months ago. Ever since, the two have been virtually joined at the hip. Despite being caught up with promoting her latest movie ‘Ishaqzaade’ Parineeti has been trying to include Jackky in all her plans. She has allegedly been paying a visit at Jackky’s residence on a regular basis. Just recently the vivacious actress set many tongues wagging when she was spotted with Jackky in an office above Jackky’s sister, Honey’s, shop.
The source confessed to a tabloid that only some people were aware of the blossoming friendship between the actors and that they want to maintain a low profile about their supposed relationship. Nevertheless, it is obvious that Jackky couldn’t control his excitement when he took to twitter and got busy tweeting about Parineeti’s film ‘Ishaqzaade.’
This is not the first time Parineeti has been in a relationship. Before her Bollywood debut she was supposedly dating Harman Baweja’s cousin Maninder Singh.

This special gesture for the half Indian-half Brazilian calendar girl took everyone by surprise including his production house folk as Ramu is not exactly known for showering gifts on his stars.Says Natalia, “While shooting for my item song Dan Dan, I realised that I really liked the outfit. It was exquisitely designed and fabulous. Later Ramu sir generously offered it to me to keep it after the shoot.”
Apparently the filmmaker was so impressed with Nathalia and her moves that in a fit of generosity he told her to take it home. The red and silver dress has been designed by Leepakshi Ellawadi who earlier styled Amitabh Bachchan for Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap.

With Ajay Devgn ignoring Kangna Ranaut at an event for their new film 'Tezz', the miffed actress has decided to steer clear of him

With their new film all set to release soon, Anil Kapoor and Ajay Devgn are going all out for the promotional activities around it. 

However, it remains to be seen if co-star Kangna Ranaut will accompany them for some of these    events.Reason: The Bollywood actress was given a major cold shoulder by Devgn at the film’s music launch in Delhi recently and now she is believed to have decided to stay away from him for a while.The royal snubA source present at the launch of the Priyadarshan-directed film in the capital tells us that Ajay and Kangna didn’t even exchange glances when they came together on the stage, let alone exchange pleasantries.   

“So much so that even producer Ratan Jain was worried how the ‘ignorance is bliss’ stance between his lead pair would shift the focus away from the music launch, ” says our source, adding that the rift between the once-upon-a-time friends was evident when Ajay didn’t mention Kangna’s name even once while speaking. 

“While Ajay praised Sameera Reddy for the action sequences she has done and thanked Anil, Priyan and Ratan for the wonderful experience of working in the film, he didn’t mention Kang’s name even once. 

More so since they’re paired together and the crux of the story exists solely on the circumstances their on-screen characters face. And Kangna was so upset with this ignorance that she decided to avoid Ajay by not accompanying the cast on promotional tours, ” says our source.Past imperfectIt is believed that the Ajay-Kangna friendship soured during the making of Rascals. Slain Starlet's headless body found in septic tank

The two accused ” advocates-cum-struggling actors ” had strangled Meenakshi Thapa and then severed her head from the torso; they dumped the torso in Allahabad and the head on the Allahabad-Varanasi highway

A team of Mumbai police aided by Allahabad cops traced the headless torso of Meenakshi Thapa, a budding Bollywood actress who was abducted on March 30, to a septic tank here, police said yesterday.

The murder accused — Amit Jaiswal and Preeti Sarin —have confessed to killing Thapa lured by ransom. 
The duo first befriended Thapa noting her high profile lifestyle and then brought her to Allahabad under the pretext of fixing a meeting with a Bhojpuri producer. Later, she was abducted by Jaiswal and Sarin, police said. 
The accused, who have dabbled with some modelling assignments as well, called up Thapa’s mother in Dehradun demanding Rs 15 lakh as ransom to let her off. However, the parents could cough up only Rs 60,000. It was then that the duo decided to kill Thapa, police said. 
According to police, the duo strangled the actress and then severed her head from the torso. They dumped the torso in a septic tank in the Darbhanga Colony area of the city and the severed head in the Vindhyasani area on the Allahabad-Varanasi highway. 
While the torso of Thapa was fished out of the septic tank after the accused led the police team to the area, efforts are on to trace the head of the slain starlet.

Plot of the deadly real life story 

Jaiswal and Surin had come to Mumbai last year and were staying in Virar. The two were advocates from Allahabad and were running a coaching class there. The duo had befriended Thapa at a film shoot. 

Thapa had told them that she was from a rich family and was working in Bollywood as a hobby. The couple then came up with a plan to kidnap Thapa. The two on March 13, lured Thapa to Allahabad on the pretext of a film shoot.After killing her in Gorakhpur, they acquired her ATM card and mobile SIM card. The two then made calls to the victim’s mother and demanded a ransom. They threatened the family that they would shoot an obscene film of Thapa and then kill her if their demand was not met. The family had given the kidnappers Rs 60,000 even as cops were on the lookout for the duo. Following a tip-off, they were arrested from Bandra. 

'No one is my buddy in Bollywood'

Even after completing a decade in the industry, actress Bipasha Basu says she has no close friends in Bollywood

The 33-year-old actress says she has her own reservations when it comes to approaching a filmmaker for a role. 

"If I meet someone at a function, I do say hello. I am cordial to all. However, I can't pick up the phone next morning and propose to plan a film together. A lot of this is also due to the fact that no one is my buddy in Bollywood.

I know that for some out there this does count. Nothing wrong with that but then that's just not me," Bipasha said. "On my speed dial, there is no one from the industry. When a role is offered and it is good enough then I do that. Otherwise I wait for the next right opportunity," she added. 
However, in the cut throat competition that prevails in Bollywood, doesn't she feel that she could be losing out on movies? "Possibly, but then as I said, it's a conscious call. I haven't created such equations because I am not comfortable doing that. I can't see myself saying that 'Hey, we are friends so give me a role in your film.' "I am friends with people around me but not friendly enough to start bargaining with them or emotionally blackmail them. Ultimately it's a good film that counts and when that comes to me, I give it a go ahead. It is as simple as that," said Bipasha. 
After 'Players', her 'Jodi Breakers' hasn't succeeded either but Bipasha defends her decision to work with director Ashwini Chaudhary. 

"I trusted Ashwini's sensibilities when I met him. As for critical acclaim and commercial gains, it is futile to discuss that. Sometimes really bad films get a lot of critical acclaim while really good films are not watched by many. It is sheer bad luck that results in the downfall of certain films," she explained. 

However, it wasn't just the luck factor that played spoilsports with 'Players'. The film just didn't manage to find an audience despite being well promoted. "Everyone knows that it was a very expensive film to pull through. As much as we would have wanted, it would have been difficult to recover the costs involved. Also the timing of the film went wrong. We may have had a fair chance if we would have come at some other time. Reality is that it didn't do well so no excuses there," she said."It is impractical to release a film immediately after the New Years weekend. People get back to work after an extended holiday season and can't be expected to step into theatres soon enough," Bipasha further added. She is happy with some takeaways from both her films."I managed to step into a different zone with 'Jodi Breakers' and audience saw a different side of my persona there. On the other hand in case of 'Players' when people were so harsh on the film as well as other people involved, I got some good reviews. That was heartening enough," she signed off.
